Senior Counsellor, IGBC-CII

Dr. Shivraj Dhaka is a Senior Counsellor at IGBC, CII, with nearly two decades of impactful work in India’s sustainable built environment. A Gold Medalist in M.Tech (Energy Engineering) from MNIT Jaipur, he completed a DAAD-funded Ph.D. at MNIT and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, focusing on thermal adaptation and energy efficiency. At IGBC, he oversees green certification for commercial buildings and leads the development of the Green Data Centre Certification. He has retrofitted several landmark projects and manages key collaborations with LBNL, Shakti Foundation, Enterprise Singapore, and others. He also heads the Green Cooling Council, promoting green, affordable, and accessible cooling solutions.
