Professor IIT Bombay

Dr. Hitesh D. Rawate is currently an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay. His research focuses on indoor air quality improvement through innovative aerosol mitigation techniques, particularly filterless purification systems. A Ph.D. in green CO₂ capture, he has published multiple peer-reviewed papers in energy, environment, and interfacial science. He has also conducted performance studies on commercial air cleaners and AC-integrated purification technologies. Dr. Rawate’s work bridges advanced laboratory research with real-world solutions for sustainable air purification in built environments.
