AHRI India Representative & Director, Univac Environment Systems

Mr. Vikram Murthy, with an electrical background, is a seasoned HVAC expert with five decades of experience in Building Energy Efficiency, District Energy Systems, Alternate Energy Systems, Psychrometrics, and Energy Simulation. Currently, he is Director at Univac Environment Systems and Partner at Tropical Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. He also represents AHRI for equipment certification, as well as Director, Genpower Electric Pvt Ltd. A Distinguished Lecturer with ASHRAE and ISHRAE, he serves on the Technology Task Force for the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs. A Presidential Member and Founder of ISHRAE’s Foundation, he chairs its Research Promotion Committee. Vikram holds a U.S. patent for an innovative thermal storage system. His past roles include leadership at Voltas, Genpower Electric, and Utility Engineers India. He is also a past president of the ASHRAE Mumbai Chapter and the Rotary Club of Bombay Film City.
